Obituary of Paul J. Pellegrino

Paul J. Pellegrino, age 62 of Shelton, passed away suddenly on Thursday, August 10, 2017 at his home. He was the beloved husband of Marta Mendez Pellegrino. Born in Stamford on June 10, 1955, he was a son of the late Nunzio and Sandra Brigante Pellegrino. Paul loved music and dancing and also enjoyed karaoke with his family. He was extremely proud of his hat collection, however, his greatest enjoyment was found in the time he spent with his family. A loving and devoted husband, father, brother and friend, he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his beloved wife Marta of 31years, other survivors include his son Christian Pellegrino and his wife Jocelyn of Naugatuck, his three brothers, Joseph Pellegrino and his wife Carol of Charleston, S.C., Anthony Pellegrino of Norwalk and Wayne Pellegrino and his wife Margaret of North Haven, his aunt and uncle, Mary and Elmo Varricchio, a special niece Ana Zamani and her husband Peyman of Shelton. He is also survived by many additional nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will take place on Monday, August 14, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. directly in St. Joseph Church, 424 Coram Ave., Shelton for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. John Cemetery, Norwalk. Friends may greet the family on Sunday from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull.
