Obituary of Linda M. Selostok

Linda MacKeil Selostok, age 69, beloved wife of George Selostok of Shelton, passed away on Monday, May 1, 2017 at Griffin Hospital. Born in Bridgeport on February 4, 1948, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary Soltis MacKeil and was a resident of Shelton for over 40 years. Linda graduated from Trumbull High School in 1965. She was a devoted housewife and in addition to the tremendous job of raising her children she was a volunteer EMS Tech in Shelton and Monroe. She had a great personality and was loved by everyone who knew her.

In addition to her devoted husband George of 51 years, survivors include three loving children, James Selostok and his wife Dawn of CO, Danielle Sullivan and her husband Stephen of Shelton, Eric Scott Selostok of Milford, two brothers, John MacKeil and his wife Alice of SC, Mark MacKeil and his wife Maria of Trumbull, three grandchildren, Matthew, who was the light of her life, Amber and Mike and three great grandchildren, Addyson, Clayton and Layla as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Kathy Scinto and Ruth Deremer.

Funeral Services will take place on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Friends and relatives may call on Saturday morning from 8:30 – 9:30 a.m.
