Obituary of Carmelo A. Ciccio

Carmelo Ciccio, age 95, of Bridgeport, beloved husband of Letitia Braca Ciccio, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 20, 2017. Born in Waterbury on March 6, 1922, he was the son of the late Anthony and Concetta Guzzardi Ciccio. A WW II U.S. Army veteran, he served his country with honor and pride. In addition to his beloved wife of over 50 years, Letitia, survivors include, a sister-in-law Carmel Testani and a godson Joseph Testani both of Staten Island, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Connie. Funeral services will take place on Monday, April 24, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 545 Stratfield Rd., Fairfield for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment with military honors will follow in the Connecticut State Veterans Cemetery, Middletown. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Sunday from 1 – 4 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
