Many fond memories. The most outstanding when Tony and I had the chance to play 18 holes with Kathy Whitworth at Whitney Farms in a 1982 benefit tournament.

We were so sorry to hear about Tony’s recent passing. As longtime Boston friends of his youngest son Anthony and his wife Andy, we were always happy to cross paths with “Big Tony” through the years. He was such an engaging and generous man and his warm sense of humor and gentle laugh were infectious. Clearly he passed along those qualities to his children and grandchildren in great supply! Spending time with Tony and Daisy at their Vermont ski house or at son Tony and Andy’s house for family events was truly a delight. It’s clear that theirs was a relationship of deep love and devotion and seeing them together always brought a smile to our faces. What a blessing to have had Tony at the center of your lives for so long. No doubt he will always be at the center of your hearts, forever. We send love to your entire Colonnese Clan.

I am saddened to hear of Mr Colonnese's passing. Please accept my deepest condolences and prayers for your family. I have many wonderful memories but I will always remember him as Betsy's great dad. It was a pleasure to know such a kind man if only for a few years, long ago.

I am so sorry to hear about Tony's passing. I have so many great childhood memories of living on Pond road in Easton. Remembering all the wonderful families at the time and the summers at the pond and the winters skating there.
The last time I saw Tony was about 4 -4 1/2 years ago when I stopped in to get gas at the station where my parents went forever on my way to Cambridge Manor to see my Mom.. Tony was there visiting with the people,I got out and talked to him. Told him about my Mom who at the time was not well. She passed away soon after . Tony knew my Dad had passed away .
I had a great visit with him that day, after not seeing him for many years, remembering so many of the wonderful times I had as a child living on Pond road. With so many of the families, Kots, Gauls, Muellers, etc., and your own family .A childhood that so many kids miss out on today. Great memories and your Dad will always be among them.
My thoughts are with the Colonnese family at this time.Your Dad was a great guy. A special person to so many. God speed Tony!
