Obituary of Luis M. Pino

Luis M. Pino, age 62, of Shelton and loving husband of Nancy B. Pino, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, February 1st, 2017 at Griffin Hospital in Derby. Born on December 27, 1954 in Santa Clara, Cuba, he was the son of Anna L. Casanova Pino and the late Jose M. Pino. Luis was a self-employed landscaper, an avid car enthusiast, and enjoyed cycling, hiking, and scuba diving. He was an overall outdoorsman who loved spending his vacations on the coast of Maine with his wife Nancy and friends. Above all, his family and friends always came first, and they meant everything to him. Luis was a loving husband, son, brother, uncle and friend who will be truly missed by all who knew him. In addition to wife Nancy of 30 years, survivors include his mother, Anna L. Casanova Pino of Bridgeport; his sisters Carmen and Vivian Pino; and his nephew Ricardo Martinez, all of Bridgeport; and several cousins, friends, and extended family. All funeral services will be private. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull.
