Obituary of Angelo V. Cavalli

Angelo Junior Cavalli, age 72, of Bridgeport passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 5, 2017 at Bridgeport Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Born in Bridgeport on July 9, 1944 he was a son of the late Angelo V. and Carmela Cavalli, Sr. Angelo had been employed by Sikorsky Aircraft where he worked as a gear deburrer before his retirement with 15 years of dedicated service. An avid New York Giants and New York Yankee fan, he also enjoyed fishing. A beloved brother, loving uncle and great brother-in-law, he will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his sisters and brothers, Eleanor Paternoster and her husband William of Bridgeport, Anthony Cavalli of Bridgeport, Salvatore Cavalli and his wife Carmen of FL, Rose Marie Cavalli of Bridgeport, Carol Ruggierio and her husband John of Seymour and a brother-in-law, Donald Gabriel and his wife Connie. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and many dear friends. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Camille Gabriel and infant brother, Philip Cavalli. At the family’s request, there will be no calling hours and a graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull.
