Obituary of Nancy Ann Veneruso

Nancy Ann Beaudin Veneruso, age 79, of Monroe, beloved wife of Ralph A Veneruso Sr. , passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, January 3, 2017. Born in Bridgeport on January 20, 1937, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Irene Standish Beaudin. Nancy was a wonderful and devoted caring person for her family. She was a great mother, always looking out for her young children and never forgetting a birthday or other special occasion, in which she always gave the most beautiful homemade cards. She was a great wife and best friend to her husband for 58 years. She was also an amazing Nana to her 17 grandchildren, and her 1 great grandchild, who were all the center of her life. Her devotion to her church set a fine example for her children and their families. Nancy graduated from Central High School in 1954, where as a teenager she met Ralph, her future husband. She attended the Butler Business School and took various photography classes at Fairfield University and Gateway Community College. She was a former member of the Milford Camera club. Nancy was an accomplished amateur photographer having won many local and statewide awards for her photographs. She especially enjoyed photographing her grandchildren and family functions, along with special events at St Jude Church. She was very talented at putting together photo albums and gave them to her subjects. Some of which helped to create a history of events at St Jude Church for the church archives. She also enjoyed taking photos of her Miniature Schnauzer Love-U dressed up in holiday costumes, which she would send out to family and friends. She enjoyed watching hummingbirds in her backyard. Nancy was an avid fan of Nascar racing. She especially enjoyed visits with her grandsons, Dominick, Vinny, and Gianni to watch the races on TV and all the conversations that went with it. In addition to her husband Ralph, survivors include six children, Kimberly Koch and her husband John of Shelton, Guy Veneruso and his wife Rebecca of Monroe, Ralph Veneruso Jr. of Monroe, Suzanne Provenzano and her husband Mark of Trumbull, Julie Dorsey and her husband James of Shelton and Jennifer Crisanti and her husband Ron of Derby, her daughter-in-law, Felicia Veneruso of Westport, brothers-in-law, Frank Tamburrino of New York and Dr. Ciro Veneruso of Shelton, 17 grandchildren, Jamie (Chris), Johnny (Jan), Rockelle, Gaetano, Gino, Rocco, Gianna, Dominick, Vincent, Gianni, Gabriella, Julieanna, Christopher Jr., Ashley (Pat), James, Shawna and Joseph, a great granddaughter, Layla Provenzano, as well as several nieces and nephews, And her loving canine companion, Angel. She was predeceased by her son, Christopher Veneruso, Sr. and a sister, Beverly Tamburrino as well as her special dog Love-U. Nancy would not have been able to endure her long and difficult illness without the constant help and loving support of her 7 children & family. The family would like to respectfully thank Msgr. John Sabia for his friendship and spiritual support and coming to visit Nancy each week. We also thank Deacon John Tuccio for his faithful home visits each week and Father Henry for his comforting words.
