To the Family and Friends of Dr. Covino: I studied Chemistry in 1967 at Harding High School with Dr. Covino. I looked him up on the internet only today to find that he passed away at the nice old-age of 89. He was a wonderful, funny man and a great teacher. I still remember him telling me: "You know, Gayda, I'll tell you why you are going to be a failure unless you change. Everything comes too easy to you and you don't ever study." He was so right. Thank you, Dr. Covino. I still remember you and miss you, 50 years later. You were my favorite high school instructor.

Condolences to Mike's family. I was a student of his in Harding, Class of 67. I was also a patient of his and Al's when I lived in Bridgeport and Stratford. I would have been at the funeral but I just moved to Section Alabama on the 16th of December to my new home with my wife, to be closer to my son, daughter-in-law and granddaughter. I will never forget the new chem lab built in the mid 60's nor will I forget his teachings in that lab. Farewell to a good man. Rich Pecoroni
