Obituary of Yvette "Toddy" Fugiero

Yvette Petrie Fugiero, Mom, Nana, Franna, “Toddy” departed earthly life on Wednesday, November 16, 2016. Born in Bradley, Maine on April 30, 1928, she was a daughter of the late William and Rose Ouelette Petrie. Before her retirement she worked at Charter Arms of Shelton after many years of service. She was predeceased by her husband Clarence “Tootie” Fugiero, a daughter, Bonnie Tuozzoli and a grandson, Jamie Ruggiero. At age 88, Toddy said prayers and goodbyes to her many loved ones. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving daughters, Paulette “Queenie” Ruggiero and her husband Donald, Brenda J. Cobb, Rhonda Fugiero, a son-in-law, Richard M. Tuozzoli, four grandchildren, Tina M. Christensen and husband Eric, Richard P. Tuozzoli and wife Alicia Patel, Christopher Ruggiero, Lindsey M. Cioffi and partner Pedro Natal, five great grandchildren, Sophia and Richard Tuozzoli, Daniel R. Barash, Janecia I. Natal and Thomas R. Christensen, three sisters, Olive Shorette Buck, Theresa Petrie Moran Laliberti and Donna Petrie Cook as well as many nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to meet directly in the Garden Mausoleum at St. Michael Cemetery, 2205 Stratford Ave., Stratford on Friday, November 18, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. for a graveside service. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull.
