To the Alexander family I last saw Dr A on October 8, and we condoled about the horror of the Trump candidacy. He affirmed my disgust and terror. Much as I grieve his loss, I take some comfort in knowing that he didn't live to see the sad results of this election. May he Rest In Peace, and may you take comfort in knowing how many people's lives he affected so positively.

My 1st and best psychiatrist - he diagnosed my bipolar. A kind and gentle man who knew that I knew when I needed hospitalization. My heart is saddened today. My deepest sympathies to his wife, children, and extended family - may your grief be eased by the knowledge that Dr. Alexander meant so much to so many.

I was so sorry when Barbara called to tell me of Jim's passing. What can I say about somebody I've known all my life. Jim always impressed me with his generous support of other LaBrecque family members like our uncle Leo. I will miss his conversations with me about the family, the Marine Corps League and other things. Richard is waiting for you to stand duty with him guarding the Gates of Heaven.

Dr. Alexander was a gentle but guiding force to we clinicians who could always rely on his professionalism and experience.
