Obituary of Neil L. Santossio

Neil L. Santossio, age 74, beloved husband of Rose Porco Santossio of Shelton, passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at his home. Born in Bridgeport on December 28, 1941, he was a son of the late Domenick and Rose Capuano Santossio. Neil was a United States Army Reservist and at his retirement he was the president of Ridgefield BMW after being in the automotive business for over 30 years. He loved cars, coffee, Italian food and his family; he was an old car enthusiast and a great poker player in Sunday afternoon games for over four decades. In addition to his loving wife Rose of 53 years, survivors include two loving children, Traci Montefusco and her husband Robert of Redmond, WA and Randy Santossio and Jolene Nakamoto of Bellevue, WA, a brother, Donald Santossio of Bridgeport, two sisters, Joan Dudko of Fairfield and Amelia Stamos of Bridgeport and a cherished grandson, Kyle Santossio. He was also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Interment with Military Honors will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
