Obituary of Ignatius Masulli

Ignatius Masulli, age 92, of Trumbull, beloved husband of the late Dorothy Gallik Masulli passed away on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at CT Hospice in Branford. Born in Bridgeport on March 13, 1924, he was the son of Matteo and Rose D'Apolito Masulli. Before his retirement, Iggy was a self-employed carpenter for many years. He was a very loving and caring father and grandfather and will be missed by all who knew him. In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by his five brothers, John, Frank, Joseph, Michael and Gabriel. Survivors include two children, a son, Mark Masulli and his wife Palasa of Derby and a daughter, Ann Marie D'Iorio and her husband Vincent of Bethel, three grandchildren, Gabrielle, Elizabeth and Claudio as well as several nieces and nephews. At Iggy's request, all funeral services were held privately, burial took place at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull.
