Obituary of Glenn A. Papcun

Glenn A. Papcun, age 56, of Naugatuck, passed away suddenly on Thursday, August 4, 2016. Born in Bridgeport on October 22, 1959, he was a son of the late Marilyn Beers Papcun and Thomas Papcun of Orange. Glenn was proud a member of the Pipe Fitters Union, Local 777 for over 30 years. He enjoyed camping with his family and taking long rides on his Harley. He was a loving husband and father who treasured time with his family. He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him. In addition to his beloved wife, Karen and his father Thomas and his wife Mabel, survivors include his three cherished children, Glenn Jr., Jeffrey and Jennifer Papcun all of Naugatuck, two brothers, Kevin Papcun of Ansonia and Michael Papcun of Stratford; a sister, Karen Nickerson of FL, brother-in-law, Gary Pomerenk and his wife Amy of Naugatuck, his canine companion Harley, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father and mother-in-law, Harvey and Norma Pomerenk. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at 7:30 p.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m.
