Obituary of Charles W. Heran

U.S. Navy Veteran HERAN - Charles W. Heran, Sr., age 78, of Trumbull, a retired employee of Avco Lycoming, died on Thursday, March 4, 2010 in St. Vincent Medical Center. Born in Bridgeport on November 22, 1931, he was a son of the late Frank J. and Valerie Kovac Heran and a U.S. Navy veteran. Mr. Heran was a graduate of Central High School and an avid Nascar and New York Giants fan. However, he most enjoyed spending time with his family and working in his yard. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Marion Chimino Heran, three sons, Charles W. Heran Jr. and his wife Jeanne of Albany, NY, Stephen Heran and his wife Areta of Shelton and Michael Heran and his wife Kimberly of Newtown, a daughter Kathleen, her husband Joseph and daughter Elisa Odoardi of Trumbull, four grandchildren, Kyle, Meghan, James and Ryan. He was pre-deceased by a brother Frank J. Heran Jr. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Monday, March 8, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in Christ the King Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment with military honors will follow in St. John Cemetery, Monroe. Friends may call on Sunday from 2-6 p.m.
