Obituary of Geoffrey J. Moser

Geoffrey J. Moser, age 71, of Bridgeport, beloved husband of Margaret Lynn Moser, passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2016 in St. Vincent's Medical Center surrounded by his friends and family. Born in Bronx, NY on March 20, 1945, he was a son of the late Sam and Ruth (Krieger) Moser. Geoff had no formal college education, but he was a student of life. He retired from RBS December 2014. He was an avid reader and a self-proclaimed History buff. In his spare time, Geoff enjoyed UCONN Women's basketball, and building models especially from World War II. This made watching movies with him from that era tough because they never seem to get the markings on the aircraft right. Geoff met the love of his life Margaret at NBW in New York. She was a teller and he would always go to her line. After 45 years of marriage, she was still the best thing that ever happened to him. Geoff leaves behind his wife Marge and daughter Sherri. He also leaves behind his "adopted" daughters Janet, Idy and Michelle, grandchildren and a myriad of extended family and lives he has touched in some way. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, May 14th at 11 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. Interment will follow in Mountain Grove Cemetery, Easton. Friends may greet the family on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
