Colonel Selkis's last year in the Army was my 1st in Army ROTC. Our overlap, though brief, impacted me as it did all the cadets - powerfully and positively. Great man, great American, great teacher of what it is to be a soldier, a citizen soldier and a friend. I'm sure all of his family who had so very much more time with him over many years must feel the same but only much more so. We are all fortunate to have known him.

I worked with Bob for many years at Norden and played with him both in the retirees league and at the Tashua Senior Mens Club. He was widely regarded as a great guy and a consummate professional. He will be sorely missed.

Bob hired me for the Security Department at Norden Systems in 1989, I succeeded him in 2002. I stayed there until the plant closed in 2014; together, we were the last two Security Managers for the once great Nordens. Bob was a really great leader, and I cherished our time together. I learned many great lessons from him which I tried to emulate during my tenure. I am really proud to have worked for him and salute him for his service to our nation's defense in and out of uniform. Rest In Peace Colonel!
