Obituary of Annette B. Deyo
Annette Masciola Deyo, age 78, of Bridgeport, beloved wife of the late George J. (Gunner) Deyo Jr., passed away peacefully on Friday, March 11, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Bridgeport on May 10, 1937 she was the daughter of the late Enrico and Jennie Ferraro Masciola.
Annette attended Harding High School and worked at Alteri's bakery with her future husband. She opened her home to anyone in need, if you needed a meal she was there, if you needed someone to talk to, or just a push in the right direction she was always there. Annette was the rock and foundation to all. Known as Ma to everyone, she will be sadly missed and never forgotten. Annette has walked down many roads in her life to do right by others, it is her time to be at peace and let our loving God embrace her.
In addition to her husband, Gunner, she was pre-deceased by a grandson George P. Deyo III, daughter-in-law, Lisa Ferrara Deyo, brothers-in-law, Thomas A. Deyo and James Taft and siblings, Jeannette Urban, Enrico I, Enrico II, Emily, Rita and John Masciola.
