Obituary of Daniel W. Wallace
Daniel W. Wallace, age 23, of Trumbull, beloved son of Robert and Gail (Porteous) Wallace, died suddenly on Tuesday, May 12, 2015. Born in Bridgeport on October 27, 1991, Daniel grew up in Trumbull, and was a member of the Trumbull High School Class of 2010. He graduated from the University of Connecticut, where he received a bachelor's degree in Economics. He was employed as an account executive with i-Engineering, Inc. in Shelton.
Daniel enjoyed spending time with his family, sharing a strong passion for Boston sports, which may be putting it lightly. He also enjoyed skiing in Vermont and golfing with his father, brother, and friends. The memories that Daniel created in 23 years were immense, and those close to him will cherish them forever.
In addition to his loving parents, Robert and Gail, survivors include his brother, Robert Wallace Jr. and his sister, Lauren Wallace, all of Trumbull, his maternal grandmother, Janet Sherman Porteous of Trumbull and his paternal grandfather, Robert A. Wallace of LaQuinta, CA as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends. He was pre-deceased by his paternal grandmother, Jean Mastroianni Wallace and maternal grandfather, Norman Porteous.
Funeral services will take place on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in Long Hill United Methodist Church, 6358 Main St., Trumbull. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
