Obituary of Lonarda Maria Litzie

Lonarda Maria DePeano Litzie, 88, of Santa Clarita, CA, passed away on April 6, 2015. Born in Bridgeport, CT, "Ellie" Litzie, was the daughter of the late John and Lucy DePeano, and loving wife of the late John Nicholas Litzie. Survivors include her three children, Gary Litzie of Anaheim Hills, CA, Jeffrey Litzie of Simi Valley, CA, and Laurie Litzie Combs of Santa Clarita, CA, her two brothers, Angelo DePiano and Albert DePeano and his wife Lucille, all of Trumbull, CT, sister-in-law, Eleanor DePeano, as well as five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren who lovingly knew her as "Nany". She was predeceased by a brother, John DePeano. Ellie was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, baking, keeping a tidy house, and spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull and at 10:30 a.m. in St. Andrew Church, Bridgeport, for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford alongside her husband and parents. Visiting hours Monday from 4-8 p.m.
