To all family members of Marie, I offer my sincere sympathy..I have been retired from Abbey Delray South for 6 years now and just heard of Marie's passing.. She was one special lady. I truly loved her! I was the dining room manager at the time and remember how we could not accept GIFTS from people who lived there, but Marie would sneek me homemade biscotti and other goodies that she baked. may she be at peace and with the Lord. I will be having a Mass said for her please be assured of that. Also will be praying for her soul as well as for your healing. You will all be in my thoughts and prayers..

I've only known Marie for 3 short years, being her hairdresser at Abbey Delray South. She so reminded me of my Italian Grandmother, especially when she would sing me the Italian songs, and we would talk about all our Italian recipes. Rest In Peace Dear Marie

Dear Lenny, Bobby and all the Family, We are saddened by the loss of our loving aunt Nicolina. We have many cherished memories of her and we will always remember her ready smile and open heart. Whenever she and uncle Egidio came to Italy they always stayed at our home and she, with her joy and love for life, rejoiced us. So, we thank her for every moment spent in laugh and every hug wholeheartedly given. She was a very special aunt for us and she will be greatly missed. Our prayers and love are with you all. We met lovely Marie almost 30 years ago and we never heard her say an unkind word about anyone. We were lucky enough to share a house boat trip with her on Lake Powell when Marie was in her seventies. She surprised us all by bouncing from wave to wave on an inner tube behind a speed boat and yet she went to sleep every night with her rosary in her hand. We were fortunate enough to join in her eightieth birthday celebration with her family and friends. What a delightful and wonderful lady she was and we will miss her. Mary and Bart Howe

Dear Len, Bobby and all the family, We just heard from Judy the sad news of the your loss, aunt Nicolina (this is how we use to call her) was for me along with uncle Egidio just like grandma and grandpa when I came in Trumbull as a kid in the mid 80's. My family along with my mom and dad will rembember her in our prayers especially during the next Christmas holydays, our thoughts will follow all the beautiful family she had. God bless all of you. Dear Len, Bobby, & all the family: I Steve, along with mom, dad, & Lina will be remembering you in prayers this week & for the upcoming holidays. Zia Nicola is forever etched in our hearts & minds, as our lives have been enriched by her. She had a "roll up your sleeves & play ball" spirit that impacted me at a young age whenever we visited you all, or she came to Ohio. She was by far more than just my "great aunt" but a GREAT AUNT!
