Aunt Claire, Freddy, Jamie, Lisa, Sandra, and David, Sorry to hear about Your husband/father. He was a great guy to all when I was around, always nice to me. He will be remembered most importantly in my life, for taking us to Shea stadium when we were kids, and fueling my interest and love of baseball. Always having encouraging words for me to pursue the game. You won't believe this, but I dreamed about him last night. Ironic I got an email from a friend, offering condolences this morning. I dreamt We were having a photo shoot on the field at Shea stadium, after I was traded to the Mets. He was so proud of having the association. I remember thinking, don't mess up when I was called into the game, in fear of being called a bum by him. Lol! Also, he introduced me to carpentry, letting me work with him awhile. Love his Bird houses, I have 6 of his hanging in my yard.

Uncle Freddie always had a hug and a smile and made us feel special. He was a big part of my childhood memories. Attended my college graduation. Loved his children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews and always welcomed a visit.
