Obituary of Joseph Reda

Joseph (Peppino) Reda, age 74, beloved husband of Maria Porco Reda, of Trumbull passed away on Sunday, May 18, 2014 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born on October 14, 1939 in Carolei, Cosenza, Italy, he was a son of the late Francesco and Rosina Porco Reda. Before his retirement he was a successful Financial Advisor at Met Life Insurance Co. Joe was also a Deacon and an active member at the Trumbull Church of Christ. Joe found great enjoyment spending time with his grandchildren, family and friends. In addition to Maria, his beloved wife of 47 years, survivors include three sons, Louis Reda and his wife Andrea of Bethel, Ralph Reda and his wife Deanna of Norwalk, Robert Reda and his wife Tracie of Trumbull and his beautiful grandchildren; Jordan, Alexis, Jake, Jacqueline and Addison. He was a loving brother to his sisters, Maria, Emma and Lina and late brother, Louis and their families. Friends are invited to meet directly in the Trumbull Church of Christ, 2 Drew Circle, Trumbull, on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 for a Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call on Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Trumbull Church of Christ. Joe's wife and children have set up a voice mailbox and are requesting that family and friends call and leave any messages, thoughts, and memories that you have to share about Joe.
