Obituary of Barbara Ann Faryniasz

Resident of Cheshire Barbara A. Tribenski Faryniasz, age 70, of Cheshire, died on Wednesday, January 9, 2008 in Lord Chamberlain Health Care Center, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Norwich on September 27, 1937, she was a daughter of the late Constanty and Anna Mrowka Tribenski. She was a 1955 graduate of Norwich Free Academy and a member of the Drum Corps. A longtime resident of Norwalk before moving to Cheshire, Barbara was an insurance agent for over 30 years beginning with the former Leonard Agency of Norwalk and until the time of her illness with Webster Insurance Company of Meriden. She was very active with crafts and hobbies. She was pre-deceased by her husband Edward John Faryniasz. She was the loving mother of Glenn Faryniasz and his wife Jill of Stratford and Kim Sharnick and her husband Russell of Oxford, a sister Constance Ladyga and her husband Robert of Niantic, four grandsons, Garrett, Mitchell, Jesse and Casey, a niece Lori Burke, a nephew, Brian Ladyga, a great niece Kara Ladyga and many other nieces and nephews. Funeral Information A Memorial Mass celebrating her life will take place on Tuesday, January 15, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Matthew Church, 216 Scribner Ave., Norwalk. Interment will follow in St. John Cemetery, Norwalk.
