Obituary of Maria Dentato

Maria Rainone Dentato, age 92, of Bridgeport, a retired assembler at Harvey Hubbell, died on Saturday, August 15, 2009 in Cambridge Manor of Fairfield. Born in Bridgeport on November 14, 1916, she was the last surviving daughter of the late Vincent and Gertrude Rainone. She was predeceased by her husband, Vito J. Dentato Sr. and nine brothers and sisters.

Survivors include a son, Vito Dentato Jr. and his wife Patricia of Stratford, her daughter and caregiver, Joyce Dentato of Bridgeport, two grandchildren, Denise Mather and her husband Jay of Trumbull and Michael Dentato of Chicago, two great grandchildren, Andrew and Jillian and several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, August 19, 2009 at 8:30 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 9:30 a.m. in St. Patrick Church (lower level), Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m.
