Obituary of Margaret DeMaise

Resident of Bridgeport Margaret DeMaise, age 92, of Bridgeport, a retired employee for the City of Bridgeport Board of Education, died on Saturday, April 11, 2009. Born in Bridgeport on October 24, 1916, she was a daughter of the late Salvatore and Philomena Motto Bengfrank, and was a life long city resident. She was a past member of the Altar Guild of St. Raphael Church. Mrs. DeMaise was predeceased by her husband, Thomas DeMaise, sisters, Ann Picheco, Elena Wallace, Mary Iovino and Jenny Shaker and brothers Tony, Tom and Lenny DeLuca. Survivors include a nephew Robert Picheco and wife Patricia of Waterbury, a niece Phillis Goldie of Florida and many additional nieces and nephews, and her devoted friends and caregivers Ann and John DeSanto Sr. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Friday, April 17, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Margarets Shrine, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Thursday from 4-8 p.m.
