Obituary of Elaine S. Davila

Resident of Bridgeport Elaine S. Ferrari Davila, age 50, of Bridgeport, beloved wife of Jose Davila, died on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 in Bridgeport Hospital surrounded by her loving family and devoted caregivers. Born in Bridgeport on December 13, 1961, she was the daughter of Felice and Assunta Pagliaroli Ferrari of Trumbull. In addition to her husband and parents, survivors include two sons, David Jon Hedman of MA and Philip William Davis of Ansonia, stepdaughters, Lucy, Rosanna, Jess and Noelia Davila and three sisters, Rose Ferrari Pryor and her husband Kevin of Shelton, Tina Ferrari Devitis and her husband Vito of Italy and Melissa Ferrari of Willimantic, nieces and nephews, Heather, Stefanie, Anthony, Andrea and Alessia, her mother and father-in-law, Olga and Caesar Albuja as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Elaine touched so many with her kind heart and sense of humor. Her glowing smile and endless laughter endeared her to all fortunate enough to have known her---even throughout her own illness. She took great pleasure in cooking and was famous for her signature lasagna, ready at a moments notice. Elaines love of family and friends will be felt forever. Her spirit will remain among us to help heal the pain we feel today. Funeral Information A Memorial Mass celebrating her life will take place on Saturday, February 18, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main Street, Trumbull.
