Obituary of Gino T. Cordisco
Gino T. Cordisco, age 70, of Shelton, the retired owner and operator of Gino's Deli in Stratford, died on Monday, February 7, 2005 in Bridgeport Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Born in Binghamton, New York on September 14, 1934, he was an area resident for over 48 years. Mr. Cordisco was a U. S. Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Patricia Cappello Cordisco, two sons, Gino T. Cordisco and his wife, Evelyn of Brooklyn, New York and David P. Cordisco and his wife, Marie Elena of Ridgefield, a daughter, Joanne Pirone and her husband, Lawrence of Shelton, a brother, Carlo Cordisco of Binghamton, New York, two sisters, Anna Bozzi of Huntington and Judy Aurilio of Trumbull, five grandchildren, Amanda, Leigh, Hannah, Sarah and Lawrence as well as many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will take place on Friday, February 11, 2005 at 9:00 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Patrick Church, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Friends may call on Thursday from 4-8 p.m.
