Obituary of Arthur A. Corarito

Arthur A. Corarito, age 88, of Trumbull, a retired industrial engineer for the Barden Corp., died on Wednesday, January 30, 2008 in St. Vincent Medical Center. Born in Bridgeport on August 13, 1919, he was a son of the late Albino and Liberata Costanza Corarito and was a U. S. Navy veteran of World War II.

Mr. Corarito was a Trumbull resident for over 40 years and served as a member of the Bridgeport Tool Engineers Association, the Engineering Societies Council of Fairfield County, Junior Achievement and the Brownson Country Club.

Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Marjorie June Oburchay Corarito, two sons, Arthur Corarito and his wife Mary Ann of Rowe, MA and Paul Corarito and his wife Leona of Wailea, HI, a sister, Helen Bocchino of Bridgeport, a sister-in-law, Alice Corarito of Trumbull, two grandchildren, Lori Cayton-Quell and her husband Jeffrey of Stratford and Douglas Corarito and his wife Deanna of Southington, great grandchildren, Chelsea, Lauren and Reece Corarito and Colby, Quincy and Jacob Cayton, a special niece, Elaine Lynch and her husband John and many additional nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

He was pre-deceased by two brothers, Patsy and Joseph Corarito and two sisters, Jennie and Mary Spinelli. 

Funeral services will take place on Monday, February 4, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 11:00 a.m. in Holy Rosary Church, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment with military honors will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m.
