Obituary of Dolores Convertito

Resident of Trumbull Dolores DeMartino Convertito, age 85, of Trumbull, beloved wife of Joseph Convertito, passed away on Monday, October 17, 2011 in Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Bridgeport on November 5, 1925, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Giovannina Russo DeMartino. Before her retirement she was a cook at Central High School for over 20 years. In addition to Joseph, her husband of 65 years, survivors include a son, Ralph Convertito and his wife Nancy of Trumbull, seven grandchildren, Christopher Convertito and his wife Nancy of TX, Robert Trez of Shelton, Scott Convertito and his wife Melissa of Cheshire, Kerri Convertito Lato and her husband Joseph of Beacon Falls, Corey Convertito of Shelton, Kyle Convertito of Fairfield and Casey Convertito of Trumbull, seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Joseph Mark Convertito, a daughter, Noreen Trez, four brothers, John, James, Marco, Anthony and Louis DeMartino and two sisters, Alice DeMartino and May Donnelly. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Friday, October 21, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 11:00 a.m. in St. Margarets Shrine, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Thursday from 4-8 p.m.
