Obituary of Sylvia Convertito

Sylvia Russo Convertito, age 79, of Trumbull, a retired retail executive for D. M. Reads, died on Wednesday, June 10, 2009 at her residence. Born in Bridgeport on September 13, 1929, she was a daughter of the late Nicolia and Angelina Manfreddi Russo. She was a member of the St. Theresa Confraternity. Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Vincent R. Convertito, two sons Richard Convertito of Boulder, CO and Vincent Convertito Jr. of Trumbull, a daughter, Pamela Marcucio and her husband Chris, a brother Bart Russo and his wife Loretta, three sisters, Marge Sansone and her husband John, Millie DAmore and her husband Frank, all of Trumbull and Angie Turner of Shelton, eight grandchildren, Danielle Kaplan and her husband Michael, Vincent A. Convertito, Dominique Convertito, all of Shelton, Stephanie Marcucio of New York City, Nicole Magee and her husband Joseph of Raleigh, NC, Marissa, Noelle and Jacquelyn Marcucio, all of Trumbull, one great grandson, Joseph Convertito as well as several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by two sisters Mary Bondi and Ann Piendl. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Saturday, June 13, 2009 at 8:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 9:00 a.m. in St. Theresa Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Long Hill Burial Grounds, Trumbull. Friends may call on Friday from 4-8 p.m.
