Obituary of Russell Cingari

Russell Cingari, Sr., age 96, of Stratford, a retired truck driver for Hoffman Fuel with 37 years of service, died Tuesday, May 25, 2004 in St. Vincent Medical Center. Born in Taormina, Sicily, Italy on March 15, 1908, he was the son of the late Pangrazio and Rosalie Sciuto Cingari. He was a former member of the Pequonnock Yacht Club and a long time Long Island Sound fisherman. Survivors include his beloved wife of 70 years, Mary Sorrentino Cingari, a son, Russell Cingari, Jr. of Easton, a sister, Patricia Procaccini of Trumbull, three grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by a brother, Vincent Cingari, Sr. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 28, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mark Church, Stratford. Entombment will follow in the Chapel Mausoleum of St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Friday morning from 8:30-9:30 a.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. Donations Information
