Obituary of Dorothy Chenoweth

Stratford Resident Dorothy Cara Chenoweth, age 84, of Stratford, died on Wednesday March 14, 2007 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Born on April 29, 1922 in Hazelton Pennsylvania, she was a daughter of the late Philip and Josephine DiGregoria Cara. Dorothy was a retired quality control inspector for Jenkins Valve and also worked as a home health aid. She will always be remembered for her love and care for her family. She was pre-deceased by her husband Arthur Chenoweth and daughter Sandra Loomis. Survivors include a son, Robert J. Chenoweth, Sr. and his wife JoAnn of Stratford, a sister Mary Barek of Florida, nine grandchildren, Diana Kosa, Jeanette Chenoweth, Robert Chenoweth, Jr., Joseph Chenoweth, David Chenoweth, Amy Chenoweth, Christine Chenoweth, Rebecca Lukac and Steven Chenoweth, eight great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Friday March 16, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Friday morning from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
