Obituary of Carmela Cavalli

Carmela Nappi Cavalli, age 100, beloved wife of the late Angelo Cavalli, passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2011 in Bridgeport Hospital. She was born on November 12, 1910 in Bridgeport to the late Salvatore and Caroline Addaia Nappi. Carmela is survived by her children, Angelo Cavalli Jr. and Rose Marie Cavalli of Bridgeport, with whom she resided and was lovingly cared for, Eleanor and William Paternoster of Bridgeport, Anthony Cavalli of Bridgeport, Carol and John Ruggerio of Seymour, Salvatore and Carmen Cavalli of Palm Harbor, FL, son-in-law Donald Gabriel and his wife Connie of Alford, FL., 19 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Carmela was pre-deceased by her daughter, Camille Gabriel, infant son, Phillip Cavalli, grandsons, Stephen and Angelo Paternoster, brothers, Anthony and Phillip Nappi and sisters, Rose Franco, Esther Cavalli and Antoinette Leonetti. The family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to Dr. William Hulcher and Vitas Hospice Care for the special care given to our beloved mother. Funeral Information A Mass of Christian Burial took place on Saturday, April 16, 2011 in St. Margarets Shrine, Bridgeport followed by interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Arrangements entrusted to the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull.
