Obituary of Joseph Cavalier

U.S. Army Veteran Joseph Cavalier, age 96, of Trumbull, beloved husband of the late Angela Raffio Cavalier, died peacefully on Saturday, February 1, 2014. Born in Bridgeport on May 22, 1917, he was the son of the late Alfonso and Josephine Cavaliere. Joe was a proud World War II veteran. Joe spent many years as a Real Estate agent and also as a car salesman. He was always happy to see his friends at the DMV doing car registrations for various dealerships. He was a good man who had the gift of gab and always had a story to tell to get you to laugh. He will truly be missed by so many. Besides his wife he was predeceased by his two sons, Raymond and Ronald; his brothers Vincent, Frank and Jake; and his sister Mary Lil OHara. Survivors include his son Robert Cavalier of SC, a grandson Ronald Cavalier; and several nieces and nephews who loved him dearly. Funeral Information A Memorial Mass celebrating his life will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at 9:00 a.m. directly in St. Theresa Church 5301 Main Street, Trumbull. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
