Obituary of Pasquale Cascella

U. S. Army Veteran of World War II Pasquale Cascella, age 90, of Trumbull, a retired employee of North Avenue Garage, died on Monday, February 12, 2007 at St. Vincent Medical Center. Born in Bridgeport on May 30, 1916, he was a son of the late Nicholas and Nicola Verdi Cascella and a U. S. Army veteran of World War II. Mr. Cascella was a member of the Knights of Columbus at St. Theresa Church. Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Josephine DeBone Cascella, a son, Doug Cascella of Trumbull, two daughters, Elaine Warner and her husband, Kevin of Oxford and Patty Calabrese and her husband, William of Stratford, a brother, Robert Cascella of Warson Woods, MO, a sister, Chick Mattioli of Huntington, four grandchildren, Carly Wiesniak, Ryan Spain, Lauren Calabrese and Christina Calabrese, two great grandchildren, Grace Erodici and Mackenzie Lucas as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Friends are invited to meet directly in St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main St., Trumbull on Friday, February 16, 2007 at 9:30 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Family and friends may call on Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at The Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
