Obituary of Angela Girotto

Angela Imperioli Girotto, age 45, of Newtown, passed away on Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at her home. Born on November 24, 1966, she was a daughter of Elio Imperioli and the late Luisa Mauricio Imperioli. A graduate of Central High School, she was a postal carrier for the U. S. Postal Service and also worked at Stop & Shop in Monroe. She was a member of UFCW Union Local 919 and an avid bowler. She also enjoyed motorcycle riding. In addition to her father and stepmother, Elza, survivors include two sons, Christopher and Thomas Girotto of Newtown and their father, Massimo Girotto of Bridgeport, a brother Flavio Imperioli and his wife Mary of Newtown, a sister, Christina Murcko and her husband Michael Jr. of Stratford, nieces and nephews, Matthew, Michele, Lauren, Jacqueline and Michael III. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Saturday, July 21, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 11:00 a.m. in St. Charles Church, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
