Obituary of Patricia M. Carney

Patricia Marjorie Carney, age 79 of Monroe, beloved wife of William E. Carney, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 25, 2013 with her loving family by her side. She was born on February 19, 1933 in Yorkshire, England. She worked as an administrative assistant at various companies. An avid golfer and tennis player, Patricia also taught and played handball. She enjoyed shopping, music and dancing and was an avid dog lover. She was an active member of Long Hill United Methodist Church where she was a member of the choir. In addition to her husband, survivors include her children, Jori Tallman of Southport and Patrick Ryan of Stratford, grandchildren, Kasey, Jacob and Michael Ryan, stepchildren, Leslie Carney of AZ, Lisa MacLaughlin of Monroe, Bill Carney of NY, sisters, Sylvia, Peggy, Marie and Betty and a brother, Michael, all of the United Kingdom, as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral Services will take place on Monday, January 28, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. meeting directly in Long Hill United Methodist Church, 6358 Main Street, Trumbull. Interment will follow in St. Johns Cemetery, Monroe. There will be no calling hours. The Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull has been entrusted with arrangements.
