Obituary of Magdalene Mary Canevari

Magdalene Mary Canevari, age 80, of Trumbull, a retired secretary at Hillcrest Junior High School, died on Saturday, December 25, 2004 in Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Maybeury, West Virginia and raised in Bridgeport, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary Orosz Foote, and was a Trumbull resident over 50 years. Mrs Canevari was a past president of the Housatonic Girl Scouts Council and a member of the Trumbull Womens Club. She was an avid bowler and golfer and was predeceased by her husband, Charles Peter Canevari and a brother, James W. Foote.

Survivors include a son, Peter F. Canevari of Trumbull, a daughter, Donna A. Canevari de Paredes and her husband Eudoxio Paredes-Ruiz of Saskatoon, Sask.,Canada, a sister, Priscilla Pellis of Fairfield, two grandsons, Felipe Paredes-Canevari and Benjamin Canevari and several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, December 29, 2004 at 9 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull and at 10 a.m. in St. Theresa Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call on Tuesday from 4 -8 p.m.
