Obituary of Anthony V. Alter

U. S. Army Veteran Anthony V. Alter, age 85, of Trumbull, a retired engineer for Sikorsky Aircraft with over 25 years of service, died on Tuesday, December 25, 2007 at St. Vincent Medical Center. Born on October 11, 1922, he was a son of the late Anthony and Lillian Verrilli Alter and was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Angela Gasparrini Alter, a son Anthony Alter Jr. and his wife Maria of Oxford, a daughter Diana Hayden and her husband Keith of Winsted, a sister, Virginia Powers of Bridgeport and seven grandchildren. Funeral Information A Memorial Mass celebrating his life will take place on Saturday, December 29, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Stephen Church, 6948 Main St., Trumbull. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
