Obituary of Veronica Buonanno

Resident of Bridgeport Veronica Koshi Buonanno, age 93, of Bridgeport, beloved wife of the late Nicholas J. Buonanno, died on Monday, December 19, 2011 in St. Vincent Medical Center. Born in Grays Landing, PA on April 7, 1918, she was a daughter of the late George and Mary Koshi. She had worked at Universal Lighting and was a member of the Teamsters. Mrs. Buonanno enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and cooking for her family. Survivors include two sons, Gerald Buonanno and his wife Connie of Guilford and Nicholas Buonanno and his wife Beverly of Huntington, two grandchildren, Gerald Buonanno and his wife Tara of Guilford and Christine Buonanno of Huntington, three sisters, Mary Krzyna of Victor, NY, Rose Popovich and Agnes Kormanik, both of Masontown, PA, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to Irene for the dedicated care she provided. Funeral Information Funeral Services will take place on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at 12:00 noon in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Entombment will follow in Mountain Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport. Friends and relatives may call on Wednesday morning from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
