Obituary of Gloria Bagon Zito

Retired Sales Associate at the former Lillians of Bridgeport Gloria Bagon Zito, age 84, of Stratford, beloved wife of the late Casper Cap Marius Zito, died on Saturday, May 10, 2008 at Lord Chamberlain in Stratford. Born in Bridgeport, CT on August 23, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Agnes Riccio Bagon. Mrs. Zito was a retired Sales Associate at the former Lillians of Bridgeport and prior to that she was an Executive Assistant at Remington Arms. She was a past member of Our Lady of Grace Womens Guild. Gloria will be remembered as a fabulous cook, an avid bridge player and a water color artist. Survivors include her three loving children, two daughters, Barbara Madden and her partner Linda Pepi of San Francisco, CA, Betsy Hatch and her husband Chris of Milford, a son, Robert Zito and his wife Elaine Ackerman of Meriden, four cherished grandchildren, Jessica Vanacek and her husband Terry, Greg Zito, Josh Hatch and his wife Megan and Katie Hatch, a niece Cheryl Lewis, a nephew David Lewis and his wife Linda and additional nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Gladys Lewis and a brother James Bagon. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Monday, May 12, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull and at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady Of Grace Church, Stratford for a Mass Celebrating her Life. Interment will follow in the St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Friends and relatives may call on Monday morning from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
