Obituary of August H. Wildman

August H. Wildman, Sr., age 62, of Shelton, passed away on Saturday, February 9, 2013 surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Karen Ann Martin Wildman. Born in Bridgeport, on June 15, 1950 he was a son of the late Charles and Marie Poppa Wildman. He had worked as a plumber for the Local 777 Union with many years of dedicated service before his retirement just recently. August was a graduate of Bullard Havens Technical School class of 1968. He was an avid Yankees and Giants fan that found great enjoyment boating and organic gardening with his wife. Above all else, his family was most important to him and he will be greatly missed. In addition to his beloved wife of 32 years, Karen, other survivors include his loving children, Karen Marie Blakeman and her husband Jason of NC, August H. Wildman, Jr. and his wife Katie of Shelton, Kelli Wildman and her fiance John Boyko of Stratford and Anthony Wildman and his wife Ruth of OH, his cherished grandchildren, Tyler Pascarella, Ally Kutzer and Devan and Emily Wildman. Other survivors include his brother, Charles Wildman of Bridgeport and a sister, Irene Gordon also of Bridgeport as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Anthony Wildman. Funeral Information Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 15, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. directly in St. Jude Church, 707 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull on Thursday from 4:008:00 p.m.
