Obituary of Joan Ann Wheeler

Joan Ann Cwikla Wheeler of Sneads Ferry, N.C., died on Saturday, January 22 at Duke University Medical Center. She was the daughter of John and Ann Cwikla of Fairfield, Born in 1946, Joan was a 1964 graduate of Harding High School. Joan ascended into Heaven after a lengthy illness and leaves behind her many loving and devoted friends and family. Joan will be especially missed by her husband of 37 years, Fred Wheeler; her brother, Richard Cwikla of Bridgeport; and nieces, Katye Cwikla of Stratford and Mary Beth of Palm Bay, Fla. Funeral Information Friends may call on Friday between 5 and 8 p.m. in Abriola Parkview Funeral Home in Trumbull. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, January 29, 2011 at 10:30a.m. Directly at St Michael the Archangel Church, on 310 Pulaski Street in Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial.
