Obituary of Dolores Vertucci

Dolores Gabriel Vertucci, age 77, of Trumbull, a retired aide for the Trumbull Board of Education nutrition program, died on Sunday, February 20, 2011 in Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Bridgeport, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Rose Mongillo Gabriel and attended Central High School. Mrs. Vertucci was an active resident at Stern Village and enjoyed playing bingo. Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Nicholas Vertucci, three daughters, Lori Jones and her husband Trevor of Stratford, Debbie Hernandez and her husband David of Naugatuck and Teri Vertucci of Derby, a sister, Lynn Paternoster and her husband Carl of Newtown, two brothers, Louis Gabriel and his wife Barbara of Maryland and Roger Gabriel of Branford, five grandchildren, Luke and Marcus Jones and Christopher, Alexandra and Nicholas Hernandez and several loving nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Robert Gabriel. Funeral Information A memorial service celebrating her life will take place on Friday, February 25, 2011 at 11 a.m. directly in Christ Episcopal Church, 2000 Main Street, Stratford. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
