Obituary of Rose Uhl

Resident of Bridgeport Rose Monterosso Uhl, age 81, of Bridgeport, a retired book keeper for Steinbach Department Store, died on Tuesday, June 27, 2006 at her residence. Born in Bridgeport on November 13, 1924, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Marianna Cuzzini Monterosso. Mrs. Uhl had been a volunteer at St. Vincents Medical Center for many years. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Chester Uhl. Survivors include her sister, Mary Mariconda of Bridgeport and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Friends are invited to meet directly in Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 163 Ortega Ave., Bridgeport on Friday, June 30, 2006 at 9:00 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be private in Mountain Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport. There will be no calling hours.
