Obituary of Florence Turziano

Florence (Savo) Turziano, age 84, of Monroe, formerly of Trumbull and Bridgeport, beloved wife of Joseph F. Turziano, daughter of the late Frank and Mary Savo, passed away on Friday, December 20, 2013, surrounded by her loving family. A graduate of Central High School, she was a loving wife and grandmother. She enjoyed taking bus trips with her friends and taking care of her grandchildren. Prior to her retirement from Sacred Heart University as head bookkeeper, she was employed by Marcus Hearst Insurance Company. She was born in Bridgeport on September 28, 1929. In addition to her husband of 57 years, she is survived by her children, Judith Turziano and her husband Tom Emanuel of Shelton, Karen Osborne and her husband Ted of Milford, John Turziano and his wife Debbie of Wheeling, West Virginia, her grandchildren, Adam, Natalie, Trevor, Kaylee, Matthew and Nicholas, sister-in-law Viola Savo of Missouri, brother-in-law, Robert Turziano of Seymour, her longtime friends Bob and Toni Trovarelli, Eleanor Bowden and Josephine Gaustella and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers Angelo, Anthony, Harry, Alfred, Danny and her sisters, Theresa Saranich and Alice Lodice. Funeral Information Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 23, 2013 at 11:30 a.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull and at 12:30 p.m. at St. Theresa Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends and relatives may greet the family on Sunday from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m.
