Obituary of Josephine Merlotti Togna

February 06, 2010 Lifelong Bridgeport Resident Josephine Merlotti Togna age 98, a lifelong resident of Bridgeport, died peacefully on Saturday, February 6, 2010 in Bishop Wicke Health Care Center. Born in Heilwood, Pennsylvania, she was a daughter of the late John and Santina Merlotti. Josephine was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother who will be sadly missed by all. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Julius Togna, a brother, Louis Merlotti and a sister, Jennie Martinelli. Survivors include her daughters, Claudette Kascak of Trumbull and Angela Capuzziello of Lake Mary, FL, four grandchildren, Suzanne Kollar, James Capuzziello, Teresa Capuzziello and Michelle Lane, fifteen great grandchildren, and a cherished great great granddaughter, brothers, Joseph and Mario Merlotti both of Bridgeport as well as many nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral Services will take place on Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull and at 11:00 a.m. in St. Patrick Church, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport. Friends may greet the family on Tuesday morning from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services.
