Obituary of Richard Donald Getts

Trumbull Resident Richard Donald Getts Sr., age 71, of Trumbull, a retired employee of R & R Manufacturing, died on Wednesday, March 8, 2006, at home surrounded by his family. Born in Danbury, he was a son of the late Elmer and Ada Guidotti Getts, and was a Trumbull resident over 35 years. Mr. Getts was a past little league coach, enjoyed fishing and was an avid baseball fan. He was pre-deceased by a brother, Elmer Getts Jr. Survivors include his beloved wife, Patricia Getts, three sons, Dwayne Bill of Bridgeport, Richard Getts and his wife, Tammie of Beckley, West Virginia and Robert Getts and his wife Marisa of Shelton, a daughter, Jackie Restino and her husband John of Bennington, VT, three sisters, Alice Giannoni of Trumbull, Betty Cots of Boise, Idaho and Beverly Getts of Shelton, seven grandchildren, Julie, Ricky, Amanda, Jessica and Elizabeth Getts and Lindsey and Adam Restino, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Prayer services will take place on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
