Obituary of Irene Testani

Resident of Trumbull Irene Del Cegno Testani, age 73, of Trumbull, died on Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at her residence. Born in Alanno, Abruzzi, Italy on September 27, 1937, she was a daughter of the late Guerino and Pasqualina DEttore Del Cegno. She was a Trumbull resident for many years and enjoyed traveling and dancing. She was pre-deceased by her beloved husband Anthony Testani, a brother, Luigi Del Cegno, sister-in-law, Antoinetta and three brothers-in-law, Arturo DiTommaso, Antonio Mariani and Fernando Sanita. Survivors include a daughter, Anna Lia and her husband Claudio of Easton, three grandchildren, Claudia Lia and her fiance Pedro Tecla, and Anthony and Carl Lia, two brothers, Rinaldo Del Cegno and his wife Anna of Easton and Nino DelCegno and his wife Anna Rosa of Stratford, five sisters Ivelina DiTommaso of Italy, Iolanda Mariani of Fairfield, Italia Pagano and her husband Joseph of Monroe, Ivana Giordano and her husband Anthony of Bethel and Iva Sanita of Southport as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral Information Friends are invited to meet directly in St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main St., Trumbull on TUESDAY, December 28, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Family and friends may call on Sunday from 2-6 p.m.at The Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
