Obituary of Bernard P. Stoltie

Resident of Shelton Bernard P. Stoltie, age 79, of Shelton, died on Friday, September 18, 2009 in Yale New Haven Hospital, New Haven. Born in Chicago, IL on June 30, 1930, he was a son of the late Harry and Edith Dawson Stoltie. A veteran of the U. S. Navy, he was a Connecticut resident for over thirty years. Mr. Stoltie was educated at the Illinois Institute of Technology and held various corporate positions until founding his own alarm business with his son. He was also a partner in the antiques business with his wife. He is survived by his wife, Carol A. Forest; a son, Philip J. Stone and daughter-in-law, Kim A. Stone of Gulfport, FL; a daughter, Susan B. Pfund of Palm Harbor, FL; a sister-in-law, Marilyn H. Forest of Nashua, NH; eight grandchildren, Bryan P. Stone, Elizabeth A. Wargo, Todd M. Wargo, Zachary P. Stone, Seana K. Stone, Lillian K. Stone, Andrew J. Pfund and Stephanie J. Pfund, all of Florida; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and many beloved friends. There will be no calling hours. Private interment services will be at the convenience of the family.
